Trading Terms and Conditions

Links2Lincs is a sole trader business based and operating out of Horncastle Lincolnshire.

a.   Appointments:

1. Links2Lincs reserves the right to refuse an appointment.

2.  Whilst every effort will be made to attend on time, Links2Lincs is not responsible for any costs or liabilities caused by lateness or cancellation.

b.   Accreditation.

1.  For Links2Lincs to carryout Energy Assessments, accreditation has to be in place.  Links2Lincs is accredited thro' Quidos www.quidos.co.uk. Lincs2Lincs is governed by the Codes of Conduct of that accreditation membership.  Professional Indemnity insurance and Public Liability cover included.

c.   Website Technology.

1.  Links2Lincs is not responsible for any down time or non functioning, permanent or otherwise, of services or displays within this website.  Regardless of whether they are Free or Client commissioned.

d.   Sub Contracting.

1.  Links2Lincs may deal direct with clients or through a third party.

e.   Charges.

1.  All Links2Lincs work will be quoted before commencement of work unless previously agreed.  Acceptance of quote, regardless whether verbal or written, is required within 7 days from date of Quote for Quote to be valid.

2.  Once a quote has been accepted work will commence, should the work be aborted by the client full payment will still be required, unless Links2Lincs is in breach of Professional Conduct.

(i) Domestic Assessments.

1.  Charges raised by a third party are beyond the control of Links2Lincs and subject to Clients and Third parties own negotiations.

2.  Links2Lincs offers a number of services, clients will always receive a quoted price before work commences for Links2Links direct services.

3.  Domestic Assessments are at a flat rate regardless of Size within the mid Lincs area.

4.  Discounts are at the discretion of Links2Lincs.

(ii) Commercial Assessments.

1.  As for para 1 & 2 & 4 above.

2.  Charges will be based on External Sq Meters of assessed building and distance from Horncastle Lincolnshire.  No charges will be raised if initial visit suggests building is out of the scope of the Level 3 assessment criteria.

f.   Invoicing.

(i)  Third Parties.  Invoicing terms will be as per third party Terms and Conditions.  Links2Lincs will submit monthly accounts for payment within those terms.

(ii)  Commercial Clients.  Invoicing terms will be submitted monthly and 30 days from date of invoice.

(iii)  Private Clients.  7 days from date of invoice.

g.   Insurance.

(i)  Domestic Energy Assessments. Public Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance is through the registered Accreditation Company

(i)  Commercial Energy Assessments. Public Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance is through Links2Lincs own Insurance Company.

h.  House Sales Marketing

(i)  Potential Buyers.  Unless otherwise agreed, Links2Lincs does not charge for House Sales marketing within the scope of this website.  Therefore Links2Lincs has no liability whatsoever for any property marketed within this website, including any mis-representation, before during or after any interest is made.

(ii)  House Sellers.  Links2Lincs is not responsible, in anyway for any part, of the viewing or purchasing process, of any or all property's marketed within this website, unless otherwise agreed.

j.   Other Businesses.

1.  Other businesses and their services shown within this website or directly involved in any Assessment procedure, are not the responsibility of Links2Lincs in anyway.  It is the individuals responsibility to satisfy themselves as to the viability, suitability and reliability of any business and its services.

k.  Complaints

1.  Please see our complaints procedure.

l.   VAT

1.  Currently Links2Lincs is not VAT registered.

m.  T&C Amendments & Acceptance.

Links2Lincs reserves the right to change all or part of these Terms and Conditions without notice.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is assumed as fact, on acceptance of any quote or completion of any works.
